I spent a couple of hours this weekend making crochet headbands for the children and thought I’d share the results along with the patterns. I made 3 different headbands for the girls and as I also made one recently for a colleague, I’m including a pattern for that too (which is the first one in this post).
I have written all patterns in British English.
Bow Style Crochet Headband Pattern – Great For Beginners Or For A Quick Make
The craft club I run on Thursday evenings have finally finished their felt projects! The younger ones (KS1) were given templates to cut out, trace onto felt, cut out the felt then stitch together using a plastic needle and wool. I gave the older group (KS2) a bit more of a free reign with their designs and they’re now too their third week of making their grand designs!
As you can see, the results varied! But everyone managed to take something home 🙂
I had to do a quick make for a special birthday recently as we have been so ill in this house since Christmas so I decided to make a pair of painted stained glass candle holder plates. I knew the giftee was a big fan of poppies so I decided to paint those onto the glass.
My eldest (18 this year!) sculpted this cute little unicorn from white tac and sent me the photo to cheer me up! I think it’s very cute and may become a line in our Etsy shop – made from clay next time though 🙂
